CR7 Set to SHATTER RECORDS in 2026! The Ultimate GOAT's Unbelievable Quest 🚨
Cristiano Ronaldo aims to break SIX historic records by 2026, including 1,000 goals and scoring in SIX World Cups. The LEGEND continues!

Cristiano Ronaldo remains one of football’s most decorated and prolific players, and the year 2026 could add another golden chapter to his career. At 40, the Al Nassr forward looks more motivated than ever to perform at the highest level, especially with the World Cup looming.
The Portuguese superstar stands a real chance to shatter several remarkable records, solidifying his legendary status even further.
One of Ronaldo’s most talked-about goals is to become the first player in history to reach 1,000 official goals. He currently has 958, meaning he needs 43 more to hit this landmark. If he maintains his current pace and stays injury-free, the milestone goal could come early in the 2026/27 season.
The goal is clear, and I believe I will achieve it if I stay healthy.
— Cristiano Ronaldo
Another milestone within reach is winning a league title in a fourth different country. Ronaldo has already triumphed in the Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A, but a Saudi Professional League trophy is still missing. Al Nassr are locked in a title race, albeit trailing Al Hilal currently. Should they clinch the championship, Ronaldo would join a rare group of players with domestic titles in four separate leagues.
The 2026 World Cup offers a historic opportunity as well. Scoring at that tournament would make Ronaldo the first player to net goals in six different World Cups. He already has goals in 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022. Lionel Messi, the only other player set to appear in his sixth World Cup, never scored in 2010 and so can’t match this feat.
Ronaldo could also take another unique record by becoming the first player with 200 penalty goals. He’s already converted 180 penalties—the highest total in football history. Adding 20 more in 2026 would set a new benchmark. This isn't far-fetched, given that he has had seasons with over 15 successful penalties before.
At the club level, Ronaldo is closing in on becoming Al Nassr’s top-scoring foreign player. The club’s all-time leading scorer is Majed Abdullah with 259 goals, but the foreign goal record of 115 belongs to Abderrazak Hamdallah. Ronaldo currently has 113 and needs just three more to claim that title.
Finally, Ronaldo’s scoring record after turning 30 is already staggering. Recently, he became the highest-scoring player beyond the age of 30 with 494 goals. Scoring just six more would see him become the first footballer to reach 500 goals at this stage of his career.
