Kylian Mbappé has dismissed rumors of tension between Real Madrid players and their former coach Xabi Alonso.

"Where did you get the idea that there was a problem between the players and the coach?" Mbappé questioned.

He defended Alonso's tenure, pointing out the timing of his departure. "To say that Xabi was not successful is not true. He left before the trophies were won. We only lost the Super Cup with him. Xabi, in my opinion, will be a fantastic coach. I had great relations with him. He has this obsession with details, with the game."

Reflecting on the coaching change, Mbappé said, "Whatever happened, happened. It was the club's decision and we have to respect it. Now there is a new coach and this is his first professional experience. We will help him."

He also mentioned his personal conversations with Alonso: "I spoke with him when everything happened. I have good relations with him. We talked about life and I wanted to support him. Whether it was fair or unfair is not my responsibility."

Looking ahead, Mbappé emphasized loyalty to the new setup. "With the love I have for him, this is life. I have to support my new coach Arbeloa with the same love I have for Xabi. This is the life of a footballer at the highest level. This is a club decision and we have to respect it."
