Al Hilal's CEO Esteve Calsada confirmed that the Saudi Professional League is seriously eyeing Real Madrid's winger Vinicius Junior.

“In our case there are no talks, but the CEO of the Saudi Professional League – every time he is asked – says that if Vinicius is available, they will try to sign him,” Calsada said.

Vinicius has emerged as one of the biggest transfer targets for the Saudi league before a major restructuring planned for summer 2026.

The Brazilian's contract situation is also fuelling speculation. His deal runs until June 2027, but he demands a very high salary to sign a long-term extension.

Real Madrid isn’t inclined to meet those financial demands, yet club president Florentino Perez remains determined to keep Vinicius.

The Brazilian too leans toward staying at Santiago Bernabeu despite mounting tension with some fans who have openly shown hostility in recent weeks.
