The Bundesliga is taking measures to protect the economic balance by cutting the players wages with 20 per cent.
Bayern Munich squad have agreed to reduce the players salary. The postponement of the Bundesliga has seen teams revenues plummet, for example Borussia Dortmund's value in terms of stock is dropping significantly.
According to Bild the Bavarian club had come to an agreement with the players in order to help the club financially, and the measures will also include cut offs in the club's board of directors.
Bayern Munich presented their budget of 750.5 million euros for the 2019/20 campaign and the wages of sporting personnel are 336.2m euros.
Meanwhile, the Borussia head coach Lucien Favre, proposed to cut his salary. The club offered two other options for the current situation.
The first one is to cut the player wages with 20 per cent if the season don't resume and the second is to cut the players wages with 10 per cent if the matches are played behind closed doors.
The explanation why only 10 per cent is that the club will receive money from the televisions.
