The Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund expect that Jadon Sancho will choose to stay with the club this summer.
However, it was reported that the 20-year-old Englishman is likely to extend his current deal with Dortmund which expires in 2022.
Dortmund stated that they will only sell Sancho if there is any proper deal for the winger. The 20-year-old is valued at £100m and the Bundesliga team are not willing to sell him for less.
In March, there have been numerous speculations on Sancho's move to Manchester United and Dortmund's chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke claimed that the club will not stand in Sancho's way if he decides to leave them.
"You always have to respect what the player wants," he told Bild. "We already said before the coronavirus pandemic that our preference is for Jadon to remain with us."
Sancho has been linked with many Premier League clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, and he was even linked with a move to LaLiga as it was reported that Real Madrid and Barcelona are targeting the young player.
Real Madrid and Barcelona really need a new fresh addition to their squad as most of the players are already over 30.
However, Sancho's former club Manchester City are expected to receive 15 per cent of any future sale and have a first refusal clause on the England international which allows them to match any offer that is accepted.
It is not a secret that Sancho wants to play for a club that plays in the Champions League and most certainly he will join a club that can guarantee him that.
However, the player himself said that he is relaxed about the current situation and he just wants to return back to action for the Bundesliga team.
