Barcelona recorded an expected goals (xG) tally of 6.30 against Elche – the highest figure registered in La Liga since the data started being collected.

Despite creating a huge number of chances, Barca was frustratingly wasteful in front of goal during both halves. Ferran Torres and Marcus Rashford were the most glaring offenders with their misses.

In the end, the Catalans secured a 3-1 victory, extending their lead at the top of the La Liga table to four points.

Overall, Barcelona fired off 30 shots throughout the match.

The performance underlined the team's complete attacking dominance, even if the scoreline didn’t fully reflect what happened on the pitch.
