Kylian Mbappé is gaining widespread support to finally claim the Ballon d'Or in 2026, after years of coming close to football's most prestigious individual award.
The French forward took the world by storm in 2018 and impressed further by scoring a hat-trick in the 2022 World Cup final. Still, he fell just short of lifting the trophy, losing out to Lionel Messi and Argentina.
