Joan Laporta CLAPS BACK at Real Madrid Over 'Negreira' Scandal
Barcelona president Joan Laporta accuses Real Madrid of inappropriately accessing FC Barcelona's financial records in the 'Negreira' case.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta fired harsh criticism at Real Madrid over their involvement in the ongoing 'Negreira' investigation.
Speaking ahead of Barcelona's La Liga clash with Elche, Laporta called out Real Madrid's failed attempt to access Barça's financial and audit documents from 2010 to 2018.
The club known as "Los Blancos" sought these records after presenting themselves as private prosecutors, but their request was denied by the investigating judge.
I'm glad the judge shut the door in Madrid's face

Laporta said this move was far from normal and described it as inappropriate for a rival club to demand such sensitive information.
This wasn't normal. It's unbecoming for a competing club to seek access to FC Barcelona's documentation. They're trying to drag out a case where nothing will happen.

On a more positive note, Laporta praised the renewal of Fermín López's contract until 2031, highlighting his talent and revealing that coach Hansi Flick "always says great things about him."
Reflecting on the season so far, he cited winning the Super Cup and qualifying for the Champions League last eight as proof that Barcelona "is doing things the right way."
Looking ahead to the match against Elche, Laporta warned it wouldn’t be easy.
They are a team that works very well. This will be a very tough game.
