Arsenal ready to bring Rodriguez to the club

Arsenal are after Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez and they will do anything possible to bring the Columbian to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

James Rodriguez has been struggling for a play time on Santiago Bernabeu since he returned from his loan away from Real Madrid.

According to The Sun the Gunners view James as the player who will help them in attack and will bring some extra quality and freshness to their squad.

There are some discussions in England that the transfer window should be extended from June 1, 2020, to January 31, 2021, in order to ease the clubs with the recession that will follow after the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, if Rodriguez make his move to England, it would be the fifth European league that he would have played after he played in Portugal, France, Spain and Germany.

The Gunners believe that James can shine again if he changes the environment and they want the 28-year-old to be a key player of their project to move forward.

If James join Arsenal this summer it won't be that hard for him to adapt to the team as the head coach Mikel Arteta share the same language as him and definitely is a key part of the quick adaption of the player.

The 28-year-old is estimated for around 40 million euros and that is definitely a plus for the Gunners.

As we said already, James is struggling for play time in Real and for this campaign before the season was suspended he played only on seven games and has scored once and assisted one goal.
