Paris Saint – Germain are facing a big crisis

Many clubs in Europe are facing uncertain times due to the football suspension, and Paris Saint-Germain one of them as the club is on the verge of a crisis.

While the other clubs are financially struggling, PSG are in a difficult situations as six of their players might leave this summer. Four players are nearing the ends of their contracts and one of them is the team captain.

Thiago Silva and Edinson Cavani are most definitely going to leave Parc des Princes in the upcoming transfer window. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the pair might not even return to play for PSG again, as both of them are in their home countries, Brazil and Uruguay respectively.

Silva spent eight seasons with the Parisians and as it seems the club is not willing offer the team captain another year.

Edinson Cavani will leave Parc des Princes this summer as the club has not renewed his contract. Atletico Madrid were on the verge of buying the player in the January transfer window, but they could not reach an agreement.

Thomas Meunier is the other PSG player who will leave this summer, as the Belgian refused to renew his contract with the club. Last year Meunier was linked with a move to the England team Arsenal and this year he might join them for free.

Layvin Kurzawa also might pack up and leave Paris as his contract is expiring this summer. Many clubs might join the competition to sign him, as Sevilla is one of them.

Those four players most certainly will leave this summer, but let's not forget that there are player in the club whose contract expires next year and they have not extended it yet. Angel Di Maria has only one year left in his current deal and if PSG don't want to lose him they have to offer him a new deal soon.

Neymar and Kylian Mbappe might leave the club this summer too. The 28-year-old Brazilian has been linked with a move to his former club Barcelona, and there is a big possibility that the Italians are going to sign him this summer, as they are desperate to strengthen their frontline.

Kylian Mbappe on the other hand, is still a top priority for Zinedine Zidane, and the 21-year-old Frenchman might leave for Madrid in the summer.

However, Neymar and Mbappe's future in the club is still very unclear, but what's sure is that the club will have some very difficulties in the upcoming months.
