Marcelo wants to stay with Real Madrid

Real Madrid right-back Marcelo has insisted that he is not considering a move to Juventus in the summer and he wants to stay with Los Blancos.

Marcelo has been linked with a move to Allianz Stadium, but the Brazilian's intentions are to stay at Santiago Bernabeu.

The 31-year-old right-back joined Real Madrid back in 2007 from Fluminense and since then he has been a major part from the Los Blancos squad.

Marcelo says that he is not considering a move and he feels that Zidane wants him to stay too.

"I don't want to leave and I don't think Madrid would let me anyway," said the Brazilian during an Instagram Live chat on Friday.

"I'm really happy here. Since I came here with my family, it's been incredible.

"I don't really know if it's true that Juve wanted to sign me to be honest."

The rumors that Marcelo is going to join the Italian club Juventus started back in 2018, when Cristiano Ronaldo joined the Old Lady.

It is not secret that the Brazilian is a good friend of Ronaldo and that's why the speculations that he is going to follow him to Italy started.

The other reason is that Marcelo is not getting enough playtime at Santiago Bernabeu since Ferland Mendy arrived in the club. The 24-year-old Frenchman won Zidane's sympathy and has been a regular starter in the current season.

However, Marcelo said that he has noted the positive reaction by the Juve fans about his possible move to Italy.

"Two years ago I had already signed with them [Juventus], and had their shirt on because I couldn't live without Cristiano Ronaldo.

"People make up a lot of things. It was all fine with me, as I saw that some Juve fans quite liked the idea of me joining."
