Top European Clubs Compete for Cristian Romero After World Cup Final Loss

Cristian Romero’s future has taken center stage following Argentina’s defeat in the World Cup final on Sunday. The 28-year-old defender is rapidly becoming one of the hottest centre-backs available in the transfer market.
Inter Milan appear to be leading the charge to sign him. Reports from last week also revealed Inter's interest in Tottenham teammate Djed Spence, indicating they’re keen to strengthen multiple areas.
Barcelona are keeping tabs on Romero’s situation and could jump into the race if they manage to offload one of their current defenders before the transfer window shuts.
Meanwhile, other major European clubs are also watching closely. Real Madrid could emerge as strong contenders. As Jose Mourinho continues to shape his new squad, Romero is understood to be on the list of defenders that the Spanish giants admire.
