Match Preview: Bayern Munich vs Eintracht Frankfurt

The Bundesliga is back and it resumes with six games as on of the fixtures on Saturday is Bayern Munich against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Last week were the first played Bundesliga matches and Bayern Munich faced Union Berlin and Flick's side managed to win three points as they beat Union Berlin 2-0.

Bayern Munich won, but there was nothing spectacular, but the players did a great professional job.

However, now the biggest fitness test for the players arrives as they will have to play up to three matches per week.

The managers will have to make sure that their top players are in shape and to secure them in order to avoid any injuries. We may see some changes from Flick today as he wants to keep his key players safe from injuries.

Bayern Munich will remain still without Corentin Tolisso and Philippe Coutinho as both of them have ankle injuries.

Serge Gnabry might miss the match and Kingsley Coman will make sure to replace him on the wing.

In the midfield area we will see Leon Goretzka, partnering up with Javi Martinez and Joshua Kimmich.

On the right wing as last week, will play Thomas Muller, and most certainly leading the attack is going to be Robert Lewandowski, who scored against Union Berlin.

Lucas Hernandez and Alvaro Odriozola will replace Alphonso Davies and Benjamin Pavard on the full-back position. In defence, at the centre-back position we will see most probably, David Alaba and Jerome Boateng.

Between the posts as usual will be Manuel Neuer, who extended his stay at Allianz Arena until 2023.

Eintracht Frankfurt team news

For today's clash with Bayern the visitors will be without Dominik Kohr through suspension on Saturday evening. Goncalo Paciencia will also miss the game due to a knee issue.

As Bayern Munich, Frankfurt will made several changes for this fixture, but their don't quite have the same riches in their ranks.

However, Martin Hinteregger, who is a centre-back, could be a surprise dangerman as he scored seven goals this season.
