Riyad Mahrez has become the latest Premier League player who had been targeted by criminals as he had £500,000 of valuables stolen from his penthouse.
The Manchester City player had three luxury watches taken in the robbery, including a Richard Mille timepiece worth £230,000, similar to one that knife thugs snatched from Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli's house two weeks ago.
Mahrez also had two Rolexes and more than £50,000 in cash stolen from his apartment, as it was reported on Saturday night.
It was reported that the thieves have broken into Mahrez's luxury block and got hold of a key fob to gain access.
The Manchester City star not only lost the £230,000 Mille, but the thieves also took Cartier bracelets and rare football shirts worth up to £150,000.
The Burglars have tracked Mahrez carefully before sneaking into his Manchester City centre apartment.
"At around 5pm on Friday April 24, police were called to reports that four separate apartments had been burgled at a city centre block," said the police statement.
At the beginning of the year, Crystal Palace's Mamadou Sakho was also robbed and he lost over £500,000 of items in the burglary.
Jan Vertonghen's family house was also targeted by thieves, but by the time his house was robbed the Belgian was in Germany for Spurs' Champions League match against RB Leipzig in March.
Now several football players have beefed up their security by using firm Chaperone K9.
K9 have already supplied dogs to Raheem Sterling and Marcus Rashford as well as former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand.
