Huge injury boost for Manchester United

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is set to return back to action once the season resumes this month.

Paul Pogba is also fully recovered from his injury and he is due to return too.

These news are a huge boost for Manchester United as both of their key players are fully recovered from their respective injuries.

The Englishman has been sidelined since mid-January as he suffering a stress fracture of his back in an FA Cup draw vs Wolves.

Meanwhile, Paul Pogba missed almost the entire 2019/20 season as he got problems with his foot and ankle.

United were desperate for a replacement for Rashford and they have signed Odion Ighalo. The Nigerian had some very good performances before the suspension of the season due to the coronavirus.

As matter of fact, Ighalo was the one who revealed the great news about Rashford and Pogba.

“Everybody is looking good. Running, working hard and playing football," said the 30-year-old forward.

“Little two-a-sides and doing some ball work. Everyone is getting better and better.

“Everyone is back, even Paul [Pogba] is back training normally and Rashy is back training as normal.

“Everyone is training normally and training full and all that, so the squad is full and everyone is ready, I think. I can’t wait for the league to start again.”

Recently, United have agreed to extend Ighalo's current loan deal until next January, as he has impressed the club with his performances.

The former Watford forward has scored four goals in his eight appearances for the Red Devils before football was suspended due to the ongoing COVID-19 global crisis.
