Man United target former Arsenal ace

Juventus are reportedly ready to part ways with Aaron Ramsey after just one season. The Old Lady is trying to cut their costs as the coronavirus pandemic caused a huge financial blow for the club.

The 29-year-old midfielder has struggled to recover his form and fitness levels ever since he joined the Serie A team on a free transfer from Arsenal last summer.

Juventus are keen to save as much money as possible and the £400,000 weekly wage that Ramsey earns could see him fall victim to the coronavirus recession.

However, Juve are ready to sell the Wales international and it was reported that two Premier League clubs are interested in signing him.

Manchester United are reportedly showing interest in the former Gunner in recent months.

However, the stumbling block for United and any other team that might want to sign Ramsey is his huge wage.

The former Arsenal ace failed to prove himself and nail down a regular place in Maurizio Sarri’s this season as he started in just nine Serie A fixtures.

Although, Ramsey managed to leave a mark in the last game before the suspension of the season as he netted a goal and assisted one in a 2-0 win over title rivals Inter Milan in March.

In February, Sarri admitted that Ramsey had a difficult first season with the Bianconeri.

“Aaron Ramsey is growing both as a condition and a belief," said Juventus manager.

“It was not easy for him to adapt, coming from the Premier League and from a bad injury.”

Ramsey was left out of Juventus’ squad for their Coppa Italia semi-final second leg clash against AC Milan, which takes place on Friday, due to fatigue.

The first leg was in February and it was a 1-1 draw.

This season Ramsey made 24 appearances in all competitions for Juventus as he scored four goals and assisted only one.
