Liverpool's unbeaten season finally has come to an end

The surprise of the season- after 44 wins in all competitions, 18 straight victories in the Premier League, Liverpool’s unbeaten run finally came to an end.

We've expected everything but not this- Watford trashed Liverpool 3-0. Watford is now the first team who beat Liverpool this season.

Watford came close to taking the lead in the end of first-half after a mistake in the box by Alisson who spill the ball straight at the feet of Deeney.

After a goalless first half the scoreline was opened in the 54th minute after a goal by Ismaïla Sarr and a mistake in defense the hosts took the lead.

Sarr was the hero of the match scoring not once, but twice against the future champions. Liverpool has not been as convincing as we used to see them play.

They've made a lot of mistakes in defense, Lovren was just unbelievably sloppy at position. The second goal is compilation of his mistake and wrong pass from Alexander-Arnold.

Troy Deeney added the icing on the cake scoring the third goal of the match.

However, the Hornets were far the better team tonight as the scoreline tells you.

Watford was very organised not only in defense, but all over the pitch. The home side dominated in midfield and pressed the visitors just perfectly.

After Deulofeu was carried off we all thought that this was the moment where Watford chances are gone as he is one of their key players, but Watford proved us wrong.

Of course, one bad game doesn't mean that Liverpool won't be champions. They are still 22 points ahead the second Man City.

Now Klopp's side will have to hope that Joe Gomez injury isn’t anything too serious and he will be back soon, because Lovren showed everyone tonight that he is not reliable.

However, after that surprising victory Watford are now out of the zone of relegation due to a goal difference.
