Leicester Faces EJECTION from Football League After Points Deduction FAILURE!
Leicester City risks relegation to League One after their appeal on a six-point deduction was upheld, leaving just five games to save their season.

Just ten years after their incredible Premier League title win, Leicester City now find themselves perilously close to relegation to League One. Sitting third from bottom in the Championship, they are one point short of safety with only five games left.
With the matter now at an end and five games of the season remaining, everyone at the club is fully focused on the matches in front of us and on shaping the outcome of our season through our results on the pitch.

The responsibility now is to ensure these remaining games are approached with the focus and intent our current situation demands.

After dropping from the Premier League last season, Leicester are now facing the grim prospect of slipping further down the Football League ladder, following a dismal run that has yielded just one win in their last 12 matches across all competitions.
The root of their trouble lies in an independent commission’s finding from February that the club violated profit and sustainability rules over three years leading up to the 2023/24 season, during which Leicester secured promotion back to the Premier League. The breach involved nearly £21 million ($29 million) in overspending, with losses exceeding £200 million between 2021/22 and 2023/24.
An independent commission's decision to recommend a six-point deduction on Leicester City Football Club this season has been upheld by an independent appeal board.

Leicester’s fairy tale began in 2015/16, when they stunned the football world by clinching the Premier League title as 5,000-1 outsiders. Their first FA Cup victory came in 2021, but the following years have been tumultuous.
Relegated in 2023, they quickly returned to the top flight under Enzo Maresca’s management, only to endure another disappointing drop last season after winning just six out of 38 league games.
Now, with the deduction confirmed and time running out, Leicester’s fight to avoid a third-tier drop is nothing short of desperate.
