Xavi Hernandez has been appointed as the new head coach of the Netherlands national football team after reaching an agreement with the Dutch football federation.

The former Barcelona manager has now been officially announced as the leader of the Dutch national side.

His contract will run for four years, keeping him in charge until 2030.
