Lewandowski considering a move to MLS with Chicago Fire, after Barcelona and Turkish links. Will he leave Europe for the US?

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski is edging closer to a move to Major League Soccer, according to Polish outlet Meczyki.
The 37-year-old goal scorer is seriously weighing an offer from Chicago Fire and is expected to travel to the United States for talks with the club’s management.
Chicago Fire coach Greg Berhalter recently confirmed the club is actively pursuing the Polish international.
Lewandowski is taking the offer seriously but hasn’t made a final decision yet. It’s reported he has some hesitation and is still evaluating his options.
In recent months, his name was also linked to Turkish giants Fenerbahçe, highlighting the strong ongoing interest in one of his generation’s top strikers.
Lewandowski’s current Barcelona contract runs until June 30, marking the end of his time in Catalonia. The Pole joined Camp Nou in 2022 from Bayern Munich.
This season, he has scored 19 goals and provided 2 assists in 46 matches across all competitions, continuing to be a key figure in Barcelona’s attack.
