RB Leipzig star Timo Werner wi believed to be ready to join Liverpool this summer if the club is willing to pay his release clause of £52m before it expires in June.
However, Liverpool are not willing to make a move for Werner before the release clause in his contract expires.
Werner, whose release clause was inserted when he extended his contract last summer until 2023, expressed how proud he is to be linked with a club like Liverpool, and believes that he will be a great addition to the Reds.
The 24-year-old German player was on the verge of joining Bayern Munich last year for €30m, but the Bundesliga giants are still interested in him.
Werner is believed to leave RB Leipzig this summer, and the young star said that in his opinion Jurgen Klopp is "the best coach in the world" and the style of play Liverpool have will suit him very well.
Timo Werner scored 27 goals in all competitions for RB Leipzig this season and had integral role in the win against Tottenham Hotspur in the first leg of the Champions League.
