PSG Dortmund

The whole Qatar Sports Investments project is built towards bringing the trophy back to Paris but since their takeover in 2011, they are yet to be successful.

In fact, they have yet to get past the quarter-final stages under this ownership.

Kylian Mbappé and Neymar have both been included in the squad and this has to be the season they get it right. But will they manage to do it?

When it comes to this competition PSG are not being considered as potential winners, even though they dominate in Ligue 1.

With most bookmakers they find themselves fifth favourites. There is almost an expectation that PSG will bottle it and it wouldn’t surprise many if they were knocked out before the semis again.

Overcoming Dortmund and the scoring prowess of Erling Haaland may just give them the confidence to go on and take a serious crack this time around.

It’s about time they were real contenders.
