According to the Italian media, Cristiano Ronaldo might leave Juventus sooner than he expected due to the crisis that COVID-19 caused.
Cristiano is one of the most wanted players even if he is 35-year-old and there are clubs that would sign him if he does leave Juve.
As the main potential landing spots there are Paris – Saint Germain and Manchester United.
Realistically, those are the clubs, which can actually afford the Portuguese superstar.
Ronaldo became an idol at Old Trafford after what he achieved there in the 2003 – 2009 period.
PSG is rich club and most certainly can afford a player like Ronaldo. Of course, to afford him they have to lose one of Neymar of Kylian Mbappe, but Neymar is expected to leave the Parisians this summer anyway.
If we take a look to the other European giants there are several clubs which can afford a star player like Ronaldo.
Real Madrid is one of them, but as it seems Los Blancos moved on from the Portuguese player. Zidane is looking to bring some freshness to the squad with young and talented players.
Barcelona is the second richest club in Spain, but right now they are facing big financial crisis and most definitely, they can't afford signing a new player who will demand big salary.
In the past, the German giants Bayern Munich explained that they would not sign an old player.
In England, there are some clubs, which could actually afford CR7 like Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.
It is unlikely Ronaldo to join City as the club is facing a two-year ban, Liverpool and Chelsea are not looking to bring an aging superstar.
So, that leaves PSG and the Red Devils like the most logical options, of course if the prognosis of the Italian media comes true and Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Juventus.
