Borussia Dortmund had a great start when the Bundesliga returned last week as they absolutely trashed Schalke 04 in the Revierderby 4-0.
Lucien Favre's side had a great match and proved that the two-month suspension of the football caused by the global health crisis, did not affect their form.
Erling Haaland definitely showed that he is never out of form as he netted one goal and assisted one for Raphael Guerreiro, who scored two goals, sealing a convincing victory for Die Borussen. Thorgan Hazard also found the net after he assisted one goal too.
What is even more pleasing for Borussia fans is that they were not even playing with their strongest XI, as the wonderkid Jadon Sancho was put on the bench due to a minor calf injury.
Today's game promise us to be spectacular as Borussia are just four points behind the leaders Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg are fighting for a place in the Europa League.
But how Borussia will line-up for today's fixture?
We expect that Roman Burki will resume between the posts as last week he was not tested to the fully from Schalke 04.
Dan-Axel Zagadou, who had an impressive campaign, will be ruled out for the rest of the season as it got clear earlier this week.
We expect to see Lukasz Piszczek, who extended his contract with the club for one year, to partner with Mats Hummels and Manuel Akanji in defence.
Favre will rely on the wing-backs and he will most certainly put in play Achraf Hakimi and Raphael Guerreiro, who destroyed Schalke defence last week.
We will finally see Jadon Sancho start the game, and most probably Julian Brandt will drop deeper in the midfield area. The German definitely run the show last week in the Revierderby and most of the European clubs got their eyes on him and will keep a closer look.
Joining him in midfield and in front of the back line will be Thomas Delaney, who could contribute in breaking Wolfsburg attack due to his defensive play.
As usual we expect to see Erling Haaland leading Borussia Dortmund's attack.
Thorgan Hazard, who found the net with a beautiful strike against Schalke, will most certainly position on the left-wing.
