Manchester United's WORST Start EVER! Carrick's Crisis Deepens

Manchester United's struggles continue as they suffered a 0-2 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

This loss not only extended the Red Devils' winless streak to five games but also set an unwanted historical record.

According to ESPN, Manchester United has lost four of their first nine official matches in the 2026/27 season. This marks the highest number of defeats the club has ever had in the opening nine games of any season.

The statistics paint a worrying picture for manager Michael Carrick, who has yet to solve the team's ongoing issues.

So far this campaign, Manchester United has managed only two wins, against Sabah and Ipswich Town.

Their Premier League form is equally disappointing, with just six points secured from six matches.

After another setback against Atletico Madrid, the pressure on Carrick and his squad is mounting, and the poor results underline the scale of the crisis at Old Trafford.
