Julian Alvarez Makes SHOCK Agent Switch After Barcelona Transfer Collapse
Julian Alvarez changes agent after transfer to Barcelona falls through, now represented by Rodri's agent Pablo Barrero. Major move!

Atlético Madrid striker Julian Alvarez has decided to change his agent after a summer transfer to Barcelona fell through.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the 26-year-old Argentine international has appointed Pablo Barrero as his new agent. Barrero also represents Catalan midfielder Rodri.
The agreement between Alvarez and Barrero is expected to be finalized soon.
Before settling on Barrero, Alvarez considered other options. Javier Pastore, agent of his Argentina national team teammate Enzo Fernandez, expressed interest in representing him. The agency of influential football manager Jorge Mendes was also discussed.
This switch marks the end of Alvarez’s long-standing professional relationship with Fernando Hidalgo, who had managed most of his career. Their split came after the breakdown of negotiations for Alvarez’s move to Barcelona in the summer.
Despite changing representation, Alvarez remains an Atlético Madrid player under contract until the summer of 2030.
