Milan face a crucial challenge this Saturday as they travel to take on Roma, currently sitting fourth thanks to a solid run of form. Just four points separate these two sides in the standings, but the Rossoneri arrive full of confidence, backed by a strong performance throughout the season.

Massimiliano Allegri’s squad remains unbeaten away from home, a rare achievement only Bayern Munich matches among Europe's top five leagues. Their impressive numbers don’t stop there: in Serie A, Milan have lost just once in 21 games.

That sole defeat came on the opening day, when Cremonese shocked Milan. Baschirotto put the newly-promoted side ahead early, Pavlovic equalized just before halftime, but Bonazzoli secured a stunning victory for Cremonese in the second half. Far from setting a negative tone, that loss marked a turning point for Milan.

Since then, the San Siro club has avoided defeat, racking up 13 wins and 7 draws across the following 20 matchdays. This streak is just a game short of matching their best run, which stretched from January to September 2022. Still, Milan's all-time unbeaten run remains far out of reach; between May 1991 and March 1993, they went an astonishing 58 league matches without losing.

This weekend’s match will be pivotal in defining Milan’s grip on the title race as they look to extend their unbeaten away record and keep pace with the Serie A contenders.
