Chelsea absolutely trashed Everton

Chelsea totally trashed Everton in Sunday's fixture. The hosts dominated the game and the scoreline tells you that.

Chelsea scored four goals- the first one came in the 14th minute after Mason Mount fold the net perfectly. Just seven minutes later Pedro doubled their advantage by scoring the second goal of the match.

After the break Chelsea scored two goals in quick succession. The Brazilian Willian scored in the 51st minute and Olivier Giroud found the net in the 54th minute to give Chelsea the comfortable win they deserved.

Ross Barkley was at the top of his game as he assisted two of the goals.

Ancelotti's return to Stamford Bridge for the first time since 2011 was not good.

The Blues were great against Carlo Ancelotti's side. They were pressing Everton and they tested Pickford as they made shot after shot.

Chelsea dominated in the first half. They produced more chances and after just 14 minutes they opened the scoreline.

Mason Mount made a great swiveled finish and put the ball right into the bottom corner. Pedro doubled their lead scoring the second goal for the hosts in the 21st minute.

The tie was decided after the start of the second half after two quick goals- the first from Willian (51) and the second by Giroud (54).

It's been four years without a goal at Stamford Bridge for Everton. Everton remain in 12th with 37 points. Chelsea, on the other hand have strengthened their grip on fourth place and now they have 48 points - two behind Leicester and eight ahead Wolves.

What we saw today?

After the win against Liverpool in the FA Cup we saw Chelsea play a little bit more confident.

They dominated in the first and the second half. The Blues created chance after chance while Everton lack of confidence was obvious.

However, Pickford was solid at goal and despite the two goals in the first half, but if it was not him there were going to be more goals for Chelsea. He made a great save after an attempt by Willian to find the net.

After today we won't be fair not to mention Billy Gilmour. He made a great impact over the game.

The 18-year-old was just great in midfield. He made a total of 72 passes, two good interceptions and two tackles.

As it seems Chelsea have a promising talent on their side.
