Neymar, the star forward for Santos, is set to extend his contract with the club until the end of 2026, according to reports from Brazilian media.

The 33-year-old Brazilian international returned to Santos in January 2025. Over the course of the 2025 season, he featured in 28 matches across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing four assists.

Before coming back to Santos, Neymar had spells at Al-Hilal, Paris Saint-Germain, and Barcelona.

A key motivator for the striker is his ambitious goal of securing a spot in Brazil's squad for the World Cup.
