Real Madrid MAKES MASSIVE MOVE for Guehi
Real Madrid intensifies pursuit of Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, eyeing a summer move before he hits free agency. Will he join the Bernabeu?

Real Madrid is ramping up efforts to sign Crystal Palace’s central defender Marc Guehi ahead of the summer transfer window, reports AS. The Spanish giants have already informed the player’s representatives of their strong interest and made it clear they fully understand his market value.
The English international, whose contract expires in June, is emerging as a prime candidate to strengthen Real’s defence. The club plans to open official talks from January 1, taking advantage of FIFA’s rules on pre-contract agreements.
Madrid has expressed concerns to Guehi’s camp over a potential pre-agreement with Liverpool. Rumors stemmed from a collapsed €35 million transfer last summer, when the defender even underwent medical tests. The deal fell through after Crystal Palace backed out amid threats of resignation from manager Oliver Glasner.
Sources insist no such pre-contract with Liverpool exists. Although the Merseyside club is interested, any deal would have to be made on entirely new terms, as Guehi approaches free agent status.
The player himself is keeping all options open, but would prioritise an offer from Real Madrid. He sees a move to the Santiago Bernabeu as the fulfilment of a dream.
Meanwhile, alternatives like Ibrahima Konate and Dayot Upamecano have been dropped from Real’s plans. Their agents’ inflated financial demands don’t fit with the club’s policy to avoid bidding wars and excessive wages.
