Milan is already thinking about the summer transfer window, even though the winter market has just opened.

According to Tuttosport, the Milan club plans to sign Lazio's right-back Adam Marušić on a pre-contract as a free agent this summer. The 34-year-old Montenegrin’s contract with the “Roman Eagles” runs out in the summer, and talks for a renewal have stalled.

Despite his age, Marušić has been performing solidly and consistently this season.

From Milan's perspective, the Montenegrin international represents a low-risk, high-reliability option since they wouldn’t need to pay a transfer fee, and his versatility could prove very useful given the tactical demands of coach Allegri.
