Luka Modric is set to sign a one-year extension with AC Milan, keeping him until 2027. The veteran star impressed last season at 41.

Luka Modric has decided to stay at AC Milan, with a new one-year contract expected to be signed tomorrow, keeping the Croatian veteran at the club until summer 2027, according to Sky Sport Italia.
The team is set to officially announce the news by the end of the week, much to the delight of the Rossoneri supporters.
Under the new deal, Modric will earn the same net salary as before – 3.5 million euros per year plus bonuses.
Rubén Amorim, the club’s new head coach, played a crucial role in convincing Modric to continue helping the team next season.
Even though he is already 41, Modric had a very strong debut season with Milan, featuring in 34 matches. He scored two goals and provided three assists during last campaign.
