Goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez is ready to pressure Aston Villa’s management into selling him to Juventus during this summer transfer window, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Argentine international postponed any decision about his future until after the World Cup. The past few days have been tough for him, with Spain dethroning his home country in the final.

Now, the 33-year-old keeper is expected to return to Europe and focus on wrapping up his move to the Turin giants.

Martínez has already agreed on personal terms with Juve for a three-year contract. The only remaining hurdle is for the two clubs to reach an agreement.

He is set to earn €5 million net per season, plus bonuses.

Juventus have reportedly offered a loan deal with an option to buy valued at €6.5 million, but Aston Villa want a package closer to €10 million.
