SPAL's head coach Leonardo Semplichi has been fired, the club made the announced.

He was dismissed after the defeat with 1-2 from Sassuolo yesterday. The club is at the bottom of the Serie A table.

The 52-year old Semplici was SPAL head coach since 2014.

The new coach of the team will be Luigi Di Biaggio, writes the Apennines media.
