Coutinho

Coutinho's future still unclear

Barcelona want to sell Coutinho, but no club has shown any interest in the Brazilian.

The Catalans want to ease their salary situation and in order that to happen they want to sell Coutinho to reduce their expenses with 13.5 million euros.

However, Coutinho's price is set to be 120 million euros and that is the main problem why noone wants to buy him.

The 27-year-old Brazilian player is currently on loan at Bayern Munich, but the Bundesliga giants are not eager to make the deal permanent. That means Coutinho might be loaned out again this summer.

It was reported that the Brazil international wants to make a return to the Premier League, where he was unstoppable with Liverpool.

Several Premier League clubs are said to be interested in the player – Chelsea, Leicester, Arsenal Tottenham and Manchester United, but for now none of them have made an offer.

Barcelona are confident that when the transfer window approaches, there will be several offers for the player, who they bought for 160 million euros from Liverpool.

What happened with Coutinho?

The 27-year-old Brazilian was a different player before he joined Barcelona. At Liverpool Coutinho was their top player, he scored 41 goals and assisted 35 in all his 152 appearances.

With Barcelona in 2018/19 season, he scored only 11 goals and assisted five in all 54 appearances.

Coutinho moved to Camp Nou because he wanted to win trophies, but since his departure from Anfield, his career went down.

Through out the years we have seen many players who were bright stars, but failed when they had to play with one of the greatest of all time – Messi.

Coutinho was called the "little magician'', but his magic seems to have fade out when he joined Barcelona.
