Manchester City is preparing a huge offer for Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali as new manager Enzo Maresca continues to build his squad, reports MARCA.

The English champions are reportedly ready to offer more than 110 million euros for the Italian international.

Tonali joined Newcastle from AC Milan in the summer of 2023 for around 60 million euros and is contracted with the club until 2028.

Interest in Tonali comes just days after Manchester City finalized a record-breaking transfer for Elliott Anderson from Nottingham Forest for roughly 134 million euros.

Despite already strengthening their midfield with Anderson, City are still looking to add another elite player in the middle of the park.

According to MARCA, Tonali has become one of Enzo Maresca's main transfer targets ahead of the new season.
