Manchester City totally trashed Burnley

Manchester City completely destroyed Burnley as they beat them 5-0.

The Citizens had a great opportunity to open the scoreline in the 17th minute, as Bernardo Silva was left unmarked after a terrific pass by David Silva, but the Portuguese somehow missed the chance.

However, in the 22nd minute, Phil Foden from Manchester City scored a great goal from outside the box.

After a fantastic individual game by Riyad Mahrez, Manchester City doubled their advantage in the 43rd minute.Fernandinho passed the ball perfectly to Mahrez and the 29-year-old showed great skills as he dribbled past the defence.

Just before halftime, in the added time, Manchester City were awarded a penalty, which Mahrez converted into a goal scoring his second for the game.

David Silva made the scoreline 4-0 in the 51st minute of the second half after an assist from Bernardo Silva.

In the 64th minute, Phil Foden sealed the victory for the Citizens after scoring his second goal for the match.

Pep Guardiola's side dominated for most of the game and the scoreline tells you that as Manchester City made their second consecutive win after the three-month break due to the coronavirus pandemic.
