The Premier League is finally returning after three months with no action. The returning date is set on Wednesday June 17.
According to many reports the returning date has been agreed with all 20 Premier League clubs on Thursday.
The fixtures that are due to be played on June 17 will be Manchester City vs Arsenal and Aston Villa vs Sheffield United as the other clubs have one game in hand.
Those fixtures were originally postponed due to the EFL Cup Final and then the match was not played due to the pandemic.
After those four teams play their fixtures all clubs will have 29 games in hand.
However, the rest of the games will be scheduled for the weekend of 20-21 June. That weekend might be the day that Liverpool will lift their first Premier League title in 30 years.
The season is due to end in August, meaning that the remaining games will be played until 1-2 August, which is the final weekend of the campaign.
There is still no official statement from the Premier League in confirmation of the news, but it is expected that there will be one in the next few hours.
