Liverpool star Mo Salah could miss up to four months of the next campaign following the decision to postpone the Olympic games.
Salah has played a huge role as Liverpool look for their Premier League trophy this year as they are 25 points clear at the top.
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the current season to be suspended with the Olympics this summer also being postponed.
It has been reported that the Games might take place in Spring and the Egypt bosses want Liverpool key player Salah to participate.
The 27-year-old Egyptian is already due to feature in the 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The next season will be hard for Klopp as the African Cup of Nations has been moved from a summer slot to next January and February, which means that the Reds head coach will be left without Sadio Mane, Joel Matip and Naby Keita.
If Salah feature in both tournaments, he could be away from Anfield for up to four months.
Klopp had previously spoke on the decision to move the African Cup of Nations in the winter: ”The African Cup of Nations going back to January is, for us, a catastrophe.”
Mohamed Salah is one of the key player for Klopp's side as he featured in 26 games in the Premier League, so far, scored 16 goals and assisted six.
