Gary Neville Reveals Manchester United’s Next Manager Could Transform the Club's Future
Neville urges Man United to hire a manager aligned with the club’s attacking DNA, criticizing recent failed experiments. Who’s the real fit?

Gary Neville has called on Manchester United to appoint a manager whose style aligns with the club's attacking DNA. This comes after the Red Devils dismissed Rúben Amorim following a disappointing 14-month stint that yielded just 15 wins from 47 matches.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the United legend declared an end to the "experiments" with rigid philosophies imposed by former managers like Louis van Gaal, José Mourinho, and Erik ten Hag.
Manchester United must take risks and be brave in their attacking play.
— Gary Neville
United need to appoint a manager who fits the DNA of the club. Ajax will never change for someone, Barcelona will never change for someone. I don’t believe Manchester United should be changing for anyone.

Neville also named three coaches he admires, believing they could deliver the adventurous and attractive football Sir Bobby Charlton dreamed of:
- Thomas Tuchel
- Diego Simeone
- Ernesto Valverde
He described Valverde as "fantastic" and stressed the importance of finding an experienced coach who can enforce a fast and aggressive style without compromising the club's identity.
Darren Fletcher remains interim manager ahead of their upcoming match against Burnley, but Neville insists the permanent appointment should reflect Manchester United's core values rather than imposing a system that doesn’t fit the club.
