Manchester United Decided to DROP Amorim BEFORE Leeds Draw
Manchester United decided to part ways with Ruben Amorim after failed tactics and a tense meeting, just after their Leeds draw.

Manchester United’s management had already made up their minds to part ways with Ruben Amorim before their league game against Leeds, reports The Telegraph.
The match on January 4 ended in a 1-1 draw, and the club officially announced Amorim’s dismissal the following day, January 5.
The final decision came after a meeting between Amorim and sporting director Jason Wilcox. What was meant to be a constructive discussion about the team’s progress escalated when the tactical system Amorim insisted on—the 3-4-3 formation—became a sticking point.
Within the club, a consensus had formed that Amorim needed to be more tactically flexible. They expected him to gradually adjust his ideas to fit both the squad and the demands of English football. Instead, under pressure, the manager repeatedly reverted to his familiar system regardless of the opponent or the circumstances.
The Manchester United bosses felt that Amorim’s reaction during talks showed he had reached his limit working with the team. This perception accelerated the decision to let him go.
