Van Dijk admits that Messi is his hardest opponent

Virgil Van Dijk is one of the best defenders at the moment. Very few player had the luck to get past him in recent years, but the Dutch admitted that Messi and Aguero are among his biggest challenges.

As the Premier League is suspended until April 30 at earliest, Van Dijk decided to take a moment and answer his fans' questions on Twitter.

He was asked who is the toughest player he had to deal with and the 28-year-old defender replied: "There are some difficult strikers out there but probably Leo Messi."

Liverpool defender was asked who was the hardest person he ever marked, Van Dijk answered very short and clear.

"[Sergio] Aguero," said Van Dijk.
