Chelsea might be without captain Reece James for their upcoming clash against Everton. The defender is struggling with a knee injury and missed the team’s latest training session.

James was absent for the win over Bournemouth, and manager Xabi Alonso couldn’t pinpoint exactly when he’ll be back on the pitch.

It looks almost certain that he’ll miss the next match as well. However, amid James’ ongoing absence, there is some positive news with Moisés Caicedo’s return proving a bright spot for the side.

Caicedo showed excellent chemistry with Jordan Henderson in midfield during the last game, and together they put in a strong performance.
