Easy start for Barcelona

Barcelona started their first game after a three-month break in a great way as they beat Mallorca 4-0.

Barcelona applied pressure early in the game and they almost scored for the second time in the 10th minute of the game, but Griezmann couldn't take the hit.

However, Mallorca had their first scoring chance in the 22nd minute as Barcelona defence absolutely missed Takefusa Kubo, who forced Ter Stegen to intervened to save the ball which was going in the top corner.

Martin Braithwaite doubled Barcelona's lead as he blasted the ball into the net in the 38th minute.

The 29-year-old Denmark international scored his debut goal for Barcelona after an assist from Lionel Messi.

After the break, Mallorca had a chance to reduce the deficit by one goal as in the 47th minute Budimir shot the ball just inches past the post.

In the 57th minute, Luis Suarez made his first appearance for Barcelona since the serious injury he contracted earlier the season that sidelined him for a long time.

In the 59th minute, Braithwaite had a chance to score for the second time in the game, but Reina intervened in a great way and save a certain goal.

Just a minute later, Suarez was close on scoring a back-heel goal as Messi made a great cross for the Uruguayan, but he did not connect with the ball in the best possible way.

In the 79th minute, Jordi Alba scored the third goal of the game after a great chip pass from Lionel Messi.

Just before the full-time, Messi scored his 20th goal in LaLiga this season.
