Three points for Chelsea after beating Villa

Chelsea totally dominated over the first half of the game and they have created couple of decent chances to score a goal.

However, in the 43rd minute, Douglas Luiz put a great cross in the penalty area of Chelsea and Kortney Hause shot the ball into the net, but Kepa Arrizabalaga intervened to save the ball.

Kortney Hause reacted first on the loose ball and puts it right into the net.

Chelsea had their chances to score a goal.

The first came in the 21st minute of the game, as Mason Mount made a great strike, but Oerjan Haaskjold Nyland managed to keep the ball out of the net.

In the 39th minute, Mason Mount showed great dribbling abilities as he managed to lose his mark and pass the ball to Ruben Loftus-Cheek, but he just could not reach it on time to put it in the open goal.

In the second half, we finally saw Christian Pulisic back and fully recovered.

In the 60th minute, Christian Pulisic, after just coming on the pitch, he scored the equalizer. After couple of unsuccessful crosses by Cesar Azpilicueta, he perfectly found Pulisic.

In the 63rd minute, Chelsea took the lead after a goal from Olivier Giroud, whose attempt deflected past the goalkeeper.

In the 87th minute, Jota had a wonderful chance to equalise but somehow managed to miss the target.

Aston Villa did not managed to get the much needed three points that could get them out of the relegation zone.

Chelsea are now just three points away from the third place in the Premier League table.
