Real Madrid back on top of LaLiga

An important win for Real Madrid as they are back on the back of LaLiga's table after they beat Real Sociedad 2-1.

Real Madrid started fast as Vinicius Jr. had a great opportunity to open the scoreline in the 2nd minute of the game, but he sent the ball over the bar.

However, both teams couldn't produce anything meaningful and the scoreline was 0-0 before the half-time.

Just after the start of the second half, Vinicius Jr. won a penalty for Real Madrid as he was just about to strike the ball, but Diego Llorente tackled him from behind.

In the 50th minute, Sergio Ramos converted the penalty into a goal by scoring in the bottom left corner.

In the 60th minute, Eder Militao replaced the goalscorer Sergio Ramos, as the Spaniard got a knee injury after a collision with Real Sociedad player.

Adnan Januzaj scored an amazing goal from distance, but it was disallowed for an offside.

Just two minutes later, Karim Benzema scored the second goal of the game. The goal was reviewed for a handball by Benzema, but after VAR checked the situation the referee decided that the goal for Real Madrid stands.

However, Real Sociedad scored one goal back as Mikel Merino striked the ball past Courtois after a great cross by

Roberto Lopez.

Real Madrid are in a winning streak as they won their third consecutive game after the three-month break.
