Hazard Sergio Ramos Real Madrid

A much needed win for Real Madrid

Real are now just two points behind Barcelona, who are currently on the top of the table, after the Los Blancos won against Eibar 3-1 on Sunday.

After missing 16 games for Real Madrid this season due to injuries we finally saw Eden Hazard back.

Real Madrid started fast as they opened the scoreline after just four minutes played.

After a poor play by Sergio Alvarez whose attempt to clear the ball went straight to the legs of Toni Kroos and the German was ruthless and shot the ball exquisitely into the top corner.

In the 30th minute, Sergio Ramos scored the second goal of the game. Karim Benzema cut through Eibar defence and perfectly found Eden Hazard who was completely opened.

Hazard chose to pass the ball to Sergio Ramos who placed it in the open goal.

In the 37th minute, Marcelo made the scoreline 3-0, after a great play from Benzema and Hazard again.

Benzema made a great through pass to Hazard, who tried to shoot the ball in the net, but Dmitrovic denied him with a great save. Eventually, Marcelo blasted the ball in the bottom left corner.

After the break, Eibar got their first chance to cut the deficit by one goal after Edu Exposito forced a save from Thibaut Courtois.

Just a minute later in the 58th minute, Sergi Enrich almost scored a goal but he headed the ball in the crossbar.

However, in the 60th minute of the second half, Pedro Bigas scored a goal for Eibar. Courtois just couldn't cope well enough with the ball and it went right between his legs.

Eibar showed some backbone as they put really good pressure in the second half of the game.

However, Eibar couldn't convert the goalscoring chances they got in the second half into goals and the final scoreline was 3-1.

Things are now getting very tense in LaLiga as Real Madrid are just two points apart from the leaders in the table Barcelona, who won against Mallorca on Saturday.
