Derby d'Italia postponed due to coronavirus

This weekend were supposed to be played five Serie A matches including Juventus vs Inter, but all of them were postponed officially by Serie A due to coronavirus fears.

The fixtures were supposed to take place behind closed doors, but now they were officially rescheduled for May 13, because Italy is still struggling with the coronavirus outbreak.

The other four matches that will not take place are:

Juventus vs Inter

Milan vs Genoa

Parma vs SPAL

Udinese vs Fiorentina

Sassuolo vs Brescia

The rescheduled matches now mean that the Coppa Italia final will not take place on 13 May, but will be rearranged for May 20.

However the other remaining matches- Lazio vs Bologna, Napoli vs Torino, Lecce vs Atalanta, Cagliari vs Roma and Sampdoria vs Verona- are going to take place as scheduled and will be played.

Because of the postponed games, Derby d'Italia could mean that whoever win the game might win the title as Juve are for now the leaders in the Serie A table and Inter Milan is just six points behind, but with a game in hand.
