Sanchez has been on loan to Inter Milan from Man United this season, but now the Italian club are no longer interested of making the deal permanent.
According to Calciomercato, Inter have decided not to make Sanchez loan permanent.
Sanchez has been on loan to Italy from the Red Devils for this campaign and the club from Old Trafford was paying 40% of his £350,000 per week wage.
However, it is not a secret that the loan spell has not been successful for the Chilean striker. He has scored only one goal and provided just three assists in 16 games for Inter and has missed eleven fixtures due to an injury.
Some of the reports were saying that the Italian side are ready to offer him a permanent deal, but only if the Chilean agreed to receive a salary of ‘significantly less’ than the one he gets now - £210,000 per week.
But as it seems that offer if already off the table.
Inter are not able to afford to pay him that amount of money as the striker is always injured. If they signed him permanently that will limit them on the investment front, unless United agree to extend the dry loan for one more year.
However, Inter decided to part their ways with the 31-year-old striker, following a season that hasn't been what they've expected.
It is expected that Inter Milan will have to make some transfers to strengthen the attack, considering the fact that Lautaro Martinez might move to Barcelona this summer.
But for one thing we are sure, in September, Inter attack will certainly have a completely different look.
