Harry Kane has spoken about his frustration with Tottenham due to their failed attempts to win some trophies. The Englishman said that he is ready to leave the club if they don't progress or do something significant.
Harry Kane is still recovering from his hamstring injury and in a recent interview for Sky he was asked whether he will spent his career at Tottenham and the 26-year-old striker replied that he will stay as long as he could achieve what he desires.
Obviously, Spurs are not giving him what he needs currently as they exit the Champions League and are far from the fourth position at the Premier League table.
"It's one of those things, I couldn't say yes, I couldn't say no. I love Spurs, I'll always love Spurs. But it's one of those things - I've always said if I don't feel we're progressing as a team or going in the right direction, then I'm not someone to just stay there for the sake of it," told Kane.
It is known that Kane wants to accomplish many great things and become one of the best players in the world, but if he stays with Tottenham we are not sure whether he will manage to do it.
"I'm an ambitious player, I want to improve, I want to get better, I want to become one of the top, top players.
"It all depends on what happens as a team and how we progress as a team. So it's not a definite I'm going to stay there forever - but it's not a no either."
Spurs lost the Champions League final and the League Cup final under their former manager Mauricio Pochettino and Kane says the failure to take the silverware has been tough.
However, Kane explained that he loves working with the new head coach Jose Mourinho as he feels inspired to work with someone h used to watch when he was growing up.
"He came in and what you see is what you get," said the Englishman. "He's an honest guy - he'll tell you if you're doing things well or if you're not. If he likes you he'll tell you and if he doesn't like you he'll tell you!
"From my point of view, I have built a good relationship with him.”
However, Kane has scored 11 goals and assisted two before he got injured on New Year's day and got sidelined for over 2 months.
